Pam Flynn has executive leadership responsibility for delivery of the University’s People Strategy and associated services and programmes of work across the HR Directorate with a particular focus on talent attraction, engagement, performance, reward and wellbeing.

Pam has held a number of senior HR roles at the University of Sunderland, Leeds Beckett University and Liverpool Hope University and also has prior experience as a Faculty Chief Operating Officer. She joined Manchester Metropolitan University in September 2019 as Deputy Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development. Pam is a graduate of the University of Liverpool where she studied English Literature and Language, later completing an MBA in 2006. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
