Biography

I am interested in online and hyflex pedagogy, including professional development and cultural change.

Interests and expertise

I am a Digital Education Specialist based in the centre for Learning Enhancement and Educational Development (LEED). I support the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

LEED brings together the University Teaching Academy, Technology Enhanced Learning team and Education Innovation and Initiatives unit.  Our expertise ensures that pedagogic scholarship and innovation are at the heart of our curriculum enhancement, educational policy and practice. This enables us to grow the capability and reputation of our educators.

I joined Manchester Met in 2008. Prior to that I was employed in management and elearning roles within higher education and industry, including University of Salford, Aviva, BT, Phones 4 U, and Learndirect.

I have a HEA Fellowship, MA HE, PGC LTHE, MSc in Computing and Information Systems and a BSc Biological Sciences.
