Biography

I am a Senior Digital Education Specialist  in the Digital Education team part of The Centre for Learning Enhancement and Educational Development (LEED). I am based within the central team focussing on University initiatives but working closely with the team supporting faculty and Department priorities.

The Digital Education team focus on the pedagogical value of technology in teaching, learning and assessment, supporting staff development and training of integrating digital to enhance the student and staff experience.

I joined Manchester Met in 2015 as a Technology Enhanced Learning Advisor supporting the faculty of Health Psychology & Social Care. Previously to this I graduated from University of Huddersfield in 2015 with a First Class BA(Hons) in Computer Games Design. I continued to work at University of Huddersfield in their Learning technologies department for a few months before joining Manchester Met. While at the University of Huddersfield I took a placement year with the Learning Technologies team, allowing me to focus my final year on completing my degree but integrating pedagogical value including my dissertation developing my own online badging system called Credits.
