Alterline Library Life Pulse Survey privacy notice

The Manchester Metropolitan University is the controller for any personal information you provide within this survey.

We use the survey data to shape and support our Library Transformation Programme, both in the creation of a new library and the development of a four-year interim library environment which will be focused on creating the best possible student experience.  

We use the services of Alterline to assist with this activity. For further information about Alterline, please see their privacy notice.

They will send the survey and collate responses on our behalf. We intend to disclose student email addresses to Alterline on 10 April 2024 so that they can disseminate the survey. If you would prefer your email to not be disclosed to Alterline, please contact library@mmu.ac.uk by 9 April 2024.  

We will retain the survey data for five years following the completion of the survey. 

You also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw. We will collect your personal data to administer our draw and contact our winners. We will dispose of our prize draw data two weeks after the draw.
