Residency as Method
- Principal supervisor: Professor Kate Pahl
- Supervisor: Dr Laura Trafi-Prats
- Start date: October 2018
- End date: October 2021
Background and aims
I originally trained in fine art sculpture. For 20 years I have worked as a freelance artist within education galleries and communities. I have worked as an artist filmmaker on nine AHRC connected communities’ research projects.
My PhD explores artistic methods in the context of informal learning settings. I am using research-creation as the foundation of a situated longitudinal study which will develop and explore loose parts play and how they are experienced and their impact at a community adventure playground.
