Manchester Met representatives to attend COP26

Representatives from Manchester Met will attend the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow to help accelerate action to tackle climate change – the biggest risk facing us all.

The UK is hosting COP26 between 31 October and 12 November. The Manchester Met team will observe negotiations, provide insights to guide action, and promote the university’s work to tackle climate change through its education, research and business practices.

Manchester Met has been granted access to COP26 through its United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) observer status and partnerships with other organisations.
