Manchester Met hosted it’s second 'Mentoring Celebration Event', honouring the dedicated mentors who continuously support our students.

The event opened with the Dean of the Business School and Deputy Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Hannah Holmes, expressing gratitude to all mentors and mentees, highlighting the profound impact the mentoring programmes have on the university and students.

Alumni mentor Nat Black-Heaven and mentee James McNichol shared insights from their mentoring relationship in an engaging Q&A panel. Nat provided valuable insights into the importance of mentorship and its role in nurturing talent and fostering success. James reflected on the benefits of having a mentor who offers not only advice but also encouragement and empowerment. 

 

We were fortunate to hear from Adrian Ellis, a mentor from the hospitality program.
