Playful Learning Returns to Manchester Metropolitan University in 2017

We are delighted to announce the exciting news that Playful Learning will be returning to the Brooks building in 2017.

Playful Learning is pitched at the intersection of learning and play for adults. Its aim is to provide a space where teachers, researchers and students can play, learn and think together.

The event, which will be held from the 12th – 14th July 2017, is set to build upon last year’s success and aims to be just as playful and relevant to the sector as the first.

This year the organisers, Nicola Whitton, Mark Langan and Alex Mosley are looking to make the event more ethical in approach. Not only is the event back at the Manchester Met’s Brooks building – itself a benchmark of environmental sustainability – but this year the organisers are rewarding attendees who arrive by public transport, foot or bike; and all the food at the conference will be vegetarian.

The call for papers is now open, with registration for the event opening in early 2017.
