How to search our book collections

Our books are catalogued on Library Search, the online catalogue of Manchester Met’s Library. You can refine your search to only include books held in the museum by ticking the Special Collections Museum box in the left-hand menu, underneath ‘Held by Library’.

There’s lots of information on the Library’s website to help you get started with your search and explain different search techniques. You can also contact us to ask for help with searching for books held in the Special Collections Museum.

Our collections and archives are catalogued on a different online catalogue called CALM. Not all of our collections and archives can currently be searched online but we’re committed to improving our digital accessibility and we’re working hard to increase that number.
