Biography

Catrina Page joined the department for People and Performance at MMU business school in 2017. She has a broad range of teaching and learning experience including teaching various programmes in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour and teaches modules in these areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Prior to Teaching at MMU, Catrina worked for over 15 years in the Advertising and Media sector in advertising agencies in Manchester and as Head of Sales Intelligence at the Manchester Evening News specialising in audience research, business insight and data management. Catrina has over 15 years of management experience in non-profit and public sector contexts including arts charities, including several years in senior management roles.

Interests and expertise

Catrina’s qualifications include BA Hons English and History of Art (MMU), MSc in Strategic Leadership and Change Management (MMU) and PGC TLH (MMU). She is passionate about MMU as a place where students from any background can thrive and excel, especially as a First Generation student herself. She has also contributed to the Decent Work and Productivity research platform at Manchester Metropolitan University working alongside colleagues on the RISE digital evaluation project for the OFS.

Catrina also works with Talking Menopause supporting them with research expertise. Alongside teaching in higher education, Catrina also works with a variety of SME businesses in the Arts and Events sector supporting them in a range of capacities including Human Resources, student enterprise and engagement partnerships and as a board director and trustee of Walk the Plank Arts.
