Dr Calum Carson

Postdoctoral Researcher primarily interested in decent work, corporate social responsibility, living wages, active labour market policy, and the future of work. I am currently employed as a researcher on the “Universal Credit and Employers” project, led by Dr Katy Jones. This project seeks to explore employer views of active labour market policies (ALMPs), and the requirements that underpin Universal Credit for people who are unemployed and workers on a low income.

Outside of academia, I am a keen photographer and hiker.

I continue to hold the role of Editorial Manager for the Applied Spatial Analysis and Policy academic journal, as well as supervising BA and MA dissertation projects at Leeds University Business School.
