Biography

I joined Manchester Met in 2009 and I am program leader for the postgraduate HRM programs and the Level 7 Senior People Professional apprenticeship program. I currently teach HR Analytics to undergraduate and postgraduate HRM students as well as Work and Working Lives. My background is in practice where I was a HR Business Partner and I am a Fellow of the CIPD. I am active with the CIPD at a national level as a Lead Moderator and assessment writer for Level 7.

My PhD was on the implications of a workplace closure for the psychological contract.

Teaching

I teach HRM across postgraduate and undergraduate levels. I currently teach HR Analytics and Work and Working Lives. I have previously taught employment relations and Performance and Reward at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 

I supervise postgraduate dissertations and projects on a wide range of topics such as psychological contract, redundancy / job loss, HR analytics, reward and employee engagement. 

I am a member of PhD supervisory teams.
