Biography

Harish Kumar is a Lecturer in Sport Management and policy in the Faculty of Business and Law, Manchester Metropolitan University. He is a staff member in the Sport Policy Unit situated in the Department of Economics, Policy and International Business. He has published his research in peer reviewed journals and his research interests are to investigate the impact of sports on health, well-being and social issues informing policy. Harish has experience of working with governmental and non-governmental organisations across the world in various sport and health related research projects.

Interests and expertise

Harish teaches in the Sport Business and Marketing Management programs in the Economics, Policy and International Business department, Business School at the Manchester Metropolitan University. His research interests are to investigate the impact of sport participation on population’s health, well-being and society.
