Biography

Ihsan has experience in both academia and industry in the application of IT to the manufacturing and AEC (Architectural, Engineering and Construction) domains. He has been involved in teaching and research in area of information systems development. Worked on a number of research and commercial IT related projects at the University of Leeds, CAD/CAM Data Exchange Centre, University of Salford and the Building Research Establishment.

Research outputs

A wide range of interests centered around management of information in product modelling environments. Current applications focus on Integrating information systems especially issues of interoperability across multiple applications. Related interests are in the field of product modelling, CAD/CAM, and interoperability. Ihsan is also interested in all Manufacturing and Construction IT related projects ranging from CAD, VR, product modelling, DMS, integrated systems.
