Biography

Dr Nereida Polovina joined Manchester Metropolitan University as Senior Lecturer in 2016.  She teaches and leads undergraduate (International Financial Management) and postgraduate (Corporate Finance, Extended Research Project and Dissertation) course units.

Nereida has a PhD from Lancaster University Management School and an MSc from the University of Manchester. She is an active academic researcher publishing in international academic journals.

Her research specialist area is Corporate Governance, Corporate Restructuring (M&A) and Emerging Markets. 

She supervises PhD and MSc students.

Prizes and awards

Completed MSc degree in Accounting and Finance with Distinction at The University of Manchester.
