Biography

Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader, Chartered Marketer (FCIM) with breadth of senior level industry and consultancy expertise in UK and overseas, b2c and b2b markets. I led the curriculum review and development of BA(Hons) Advertising and Brand Communications in 2019 and was instrumental in securing PSRB accreditation from Chartered Institute of Marketing. I co-presented the new suite of marketing programmes to the PEAR panel who described these programmes as ‘modern, coherent and contemporary Programmes informed from perspectives of all stakeholders’. These Programmes have become solid recruiting programmes of the University. In 2019/20 and reinforced again in 2020/21, I led BA(Hons) Advertising and Brand Management and BA(Hons) Advertising and Brand Communications to achieve one of the University’s top NSS student satisfaction of 100%, for two consecutive years.       

A collegiate approach to Leadership, I have a clear vision for accelerating quality learning and development for all my students which is evident in my Departmental Award in 2022 for ‘Best Student Engagment’ and Faculty lead undertakings for our PAL scheme 2022 and 2023. Moreover, providing high levels of support, quality time and mentorship for new Programme Leaders and Unit Leaders, my collegiate approach to Programme management and leadership draws from original creative activities ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and assessment practices are a firm strategic priority, across my teaching teams. 

My International work in Cheshire Faculty, future focused programme content enriched with International Awards and talent pipeline collaborations with internal and external stakeholders is evidence of my insatiable appetite for spearheading sector-leading student experience and rising star talent. A charismatic leader with a solid C-suite network honed with great names; Conde Nast Luxury Publishing, BBC Worldwide, Newsweek, FT Business and Partnership Director in FDI for Global Trade Development Week, UAE, I am passionate about inspiring our next generation of Marketing professionals.

Finalist in Student Union’s Rose Awards, ‘Most Innovative Teacher 2017’ and, Finalist in Student Union’s Awards ‘Teacher of the Year’ 2021, this is testament to the impact my work has made, and continues to make. To accelerate effectiveness of transformational learning communities, in 2022, my MA(HEA) focus is on co-curriculum with view to examining intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors. My commitment to outstanding student experience is indefatigable.
