G*Power

G*Power is a tool to compute statistical power analyses for many different t tests, F tests, ?2 tests, z tests and some exact tests. G*Power can also be used to compute effect sizes and to display graphically the results of power analyses

Requirements

  • Windows: Download G*Power 3.1.9.7 for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10 (about 20 MB).
  • Mac: Download G*Power 3.1.9.6 for Mac OS X 10.7 to 10.15 (about 2 MB).

Instructions

  1. Click the Download software button
  2. Scroll down and click Download G*Power… for Windows or Mac.

Once downloaded, please make sure to choose unpack with folders in your unzip tool.
