My profile

Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Deaprtment of Accounting, Finance and Banking at Manchester Metropolitan University. I joined MMU in April 2016, and since have taken on different departmental roles. Currently I am the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Lead, and the Programme Leader for MSc Accounting and Finance, MSc Banking and Finance, and MSc Finance and Business.

Prior to joining MMU I worked as a Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University (from October 2014 until April 2016).

I hold a doctorate degree in Economics, from the School of Social Sciences at the University of Manchester.

My research interests mostly lie in the area of Microeconomics, in particular Decision Theory. In my research I focus on the axiomatic foundation and characterization of non-Expected Utility models, as well as their applications to economics and finance, e.g., asymmetric information and insurance demand. I am also interested in Industrial Organisations and Environmental Economics.
