Biography

Wei is a Lecturer in Economics at the Manchester Metropolitan University. He holds a Ph.D in Economics and a master degree in Financial Economics from the University of Birmingham.

He is an applied microeconomist with strong Econometric and analytical background and extensive experience in conducting quantitative research in the area of: household finance, financial expectations and health economics (behaviours and well-being). He has expertise in applying a wide range of micro-econometric models on empirical research using surveys, qualitative and quantitative datasets.
