Biography
Tim graduated from Durham University in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in Business Finance. He joined KPMG on their graduate training programme and qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA) in 2006. During his time at KPMG, Tim led audits on a range of clients from small owner managed businesses to large listed companies and even three football clubs. In 2007, he made the move into industry as the European Financial Controller for a US private company specializing in well-being products with an annual turnover of $1 billion worldwide. In 2009, Tim added to his financial qualifications by qualifying as an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) with the ACT. Tim joined Manchester Met in 2013 as a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance.
Tim is currently a Level 6 Year Tutor and is joint unit leader for two Level 6 units (Assurance & Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance and Tax 2).
