Ian Embury

Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, having joined the University in December 2015, previous  teaching experience at University of Derby’s leading on-line academic provision (UDOL) 2013-2016, American Hotel Academy in Romania 2020 - current and Institute Paul Bocuse in France 2020.

Teaching on Strategic,Operations and Marketing Management modules to full, part time students in Hospitality,Events,International Business and MMU Apprenticeship degree programmes with the Business and Law Faculty.

I currently combine my teaching alongside an active senior management role in the Hospitality and Events and Leisure industry. I have held several senior management posts in both the public and private sector across the UK. 

My main areas of interest are service quality and operations management.
