Why do you need to evaluate information?

Why do you need to evaluate information?

There will be certain expectations around the quality of the information you use for assignments. You need to be looking at information that is appropriate for the assignment you are undertaking, accurate and in date. Some of this will be academic sources such as journals and books, and other information might be needed too, such as newspapers, policy, legislation, best practice and company information. You will make decisions about what information to use by critically evaluating it. Find out what this means and how to build your evaluation skills by working through the tutorial. It will take about 30 minutes to complete.
