Ancient Poverty and Vulnerability

The Manchester Centre for Youth Studies, in conjunction with the History Research Centre, will be hosting this two day international research conference in April 2023. Call for paper proposals is now open. 

The conference aims to examine, and propose fresh perspectives on, aged and gendered experiences of poverty and vulnerability, linked to the life-cycle of households and families, across the Greek and Roman worlds.
