Our Learning Lab uses Engaged Scholarship - the integration of education and research with community engagement - to train researchers, policymakers, and organisations to translate research into practice.

It focuses on finding new ways to apply research and knowledge within communities.

We aim to create an Engaged Scholarship Network where members can collaborate to understand and address shared problems.

Activities will include:

  • Getting Started with Engaged Scholarship sessions
  • Becoming an Engaged Scholar workshops
  • A Practising Engaged Scholarship webinar series
  • A Festival of Engaged Scholarship set to take place at Manchester Metropolitan University on 20th and 21st July 2022.

This initiative is part of the Good Employment Learning Lab - a project to create more effective methods of people management through collaboration with researchers, policymakers and line managers in the North West.
