About the volleyball club
Play for fun
If you don’t fancy the commitment of joining a team, then come along to Active Campus Volleyball where you can turn up and play for fun.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced player or have never played before, Active Campus is for everyone and all abilities. Our friendly student coordinators will be on hand to welcome you and guide you through the session.
Join a league
The Volleyball Campus League is your chance to play volleyball in a social but competitive environment.
Compete with friends, flatmates, and coursemates against other teams at Manchester Met. Fixtures take place every Sunday at Sugden Sports Centre.
Join the club
If you want to try a new sport or develop existing Volleyball skills then Manchester Met Volleyball Club is for you.
The club welcomes all new members, whether you’ve played internationally or haven’t played for years.
BUCS level
Our teams compete in the following BUCS leagues:
- Men’s 1st – Northern Tier 1A
- Men’s 2nd - Northern Tier 1A
- Women’s 1st – Northern Tier 2A
