Manchester Met Netball

Manchester Met Netball is a performance sport, with six teams playing in the BUCS league and four teams playing in our Campus League. Our first team play in the top division of netball in the country - BUCS Northern Premier.

Coached by former Manchester Thunder and Leeds Rhinos player Paige Kindred, the team train and play home fixtures at our state-of-the-art, double show-court facility at Platt Lane Sports Complex.

Alongside this, the strategic partnership between the University and Manchester Thunder (four times Vitality Netball Superleague champions) shows the level of investment we have behind our netballers. We currently support all players, from pathway to senior delivering coaching, nutrition, physiotherapy and strength and conditioning.

At the start of the academic year, all players will need to attend trials to determine their place on the team.
