    The University of Economics in Krakow (UEK) is a modern university with traditions dating back to 1925. 

    Currently educating 15,000 students, the university is one of the largest scientific and research centres in Poland. Its students join one of three colleges:

    • Economics, finance and law
    • Economy and public administration
    • Management and quality sciences

    The university’s founding mission is: Rerum cognoscere causas et valorem - get to know the causes and values ​​of things. 

    Currently, UEK offers studies in 30 fields of study in Polish and English, postgraduate studies and prestigious MBA studies.

  • Jagiellonian University

    Key facts

    The Jagiellonian University is the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe. It was founded on 12 May 1364 by the Polish king Casimir the Great. 

    It prides itself on its international links, having attracted foreign scholars throughout its history. 

    Today, the university comprises 16 faculties, where nearly 4,000 academic staff conduct research and provide education to over 40,000 students, covering more than 80 different fields of study.

    The Jagiellonian University has about 150 student societies, where young researchers pursue their academic interests and develop friendships with people who share their passion.
