My current role is ‘CRO (conversation rate optimisation) Assistant’ at Iprospect a digital marketing agency in Manchester. CRO is helping a business make strategic, creative and technical changes that customers appreciate, allowing for a measurable stronger performance.
During my studies at Manchester Met, the most enjoyable aspect was the variety of units incorporating business knowledge, whilst I learnt web development coding skills. Also, having opportunities to meet business professionals within the industry when studying Agency Ready was a great help to get an insight into the roles and requirements needed for my professional future.
The key skills studying ‘Information and Communications’ at Manchester Met taught me, were the importance of organisation, time management and team work. These main skills allowed me to ensure all my work in and out of university were to the highest of standard and delivered on time, whilst being able to work efficiently and effectively with others.
Make sure you make the most of the facilities and tutors. They are always available and there to offer support when required. Ensuring you maximise your learning efficiently and effectively will allow for you to progress and push for those extra marks!
The need to always make sure I fulfil my potential to the full and don’t allow any setbacks to get in my way of achieving these.
The amount of support and pastoral care from all members of staff. I was fortunate to also have made real friendships, which will stay with me.
