Our commitment to you and your future

Supporting you through welcome, your studies and your future career

Student Futures Commitment
Six commitments that helps us give you the best university experience

We want to make sure your time at Manchester Met is the best it can be, so we are committed to making sure every student journey matters.

Welcome to your Student Futures Commitment. It has been co-created with you, the students, the University, and the Union and outlines six ways that we will help support you to get the most out of your time with us.

We are passionate about ensuring you get the support you need so this commitment sets out how we will work with you and support you throughout your university journey; from welcome to after graduation, to help prepare you for a successful future career.

Our six commitments to you

  1. We are committed to making sure you get the most out of your time at university, enjoying every minute of your studies and building life and employability skills while you make new friends.
  2. We are committed to providing you with innovative teaching and learning as well as a dedicated personal tutor to help you to navigate university life.
  3. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive learning environment for our students.
  4. We are committed to supporting your physical and mental health while you study with us.
  5. We are committed to providing you with regular opportunities to share your views to help us make improvements to our courses and wider student experience.
  6. We are committed to helping you to gear up for life after university from day one of your studies.

Check out this video to hear more about how your Student Futures Commitment will help shape your journey at Manchester Met.

We will continue to work on these commitments by collaborating with you and getting your feedback. Our aim is to continuously enhance the student experience, so you can get the most out of your time at university.
