Introduction

If you need an educational psychologist assessment (EPA), this bursary helps with the cost of the test.

The test costs £330, and you are expected to contribute £100 towards it. The EPA bursary covers the remaining £230 for eligible students.

How it works

Who is eligible?

To receive the EPA bursary, you must:

  • be enrolled on a course at Manchester Met (with the exception of students on the UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and degree apprenticeship students)*
  • have already paid your £100 personal contribution

*Students who are suspended or repeating without attendance may still be eligible to apply. If in doubt, please contact Disability Services who will check your eligibility.

Disability Services are responsible for checking that potential applicants meet the above eligibility criteria. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the £230 will be paid directly to the educational psychologist on your behalf to allow you to attend the assessment.

If you are struggling to pay the £100 expected student contribution due to financial difficulty, please contact the Student Financial Support helpline on 0161 247 1045 to discuss your options.
