About men's football
Play for fun
If you don’t fancy the commitment of joining a team, then come along to Active Campus Football where you can turn up and play for fun.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced player or have never played before, Active Campus is for everyone and all abilities. Our friendly sport co-ordinators will be on hand to welcome you and guide you through the session.
Join a league
Compete against friends, flatmates and course mates in our 5-a-side and 11-a-side football campus leagues. You’ll play against other teams at Manchester Met as well as teams from the University of Manchester and the University of Salford, in weekly fixtures at our Platt Lane Sports Complex and Hough End Leisure Centre.
Our campus leagues are a great way to play the sport you love in a social but competitive environment, and without the commitment of the BUCS teams. There are trophies and prizes at the end of the year for the winning team.
If you don’t have a team, please contact us and we’ll find a team for you if and when spaces become available. You can register your interest via the link at the bottom of this page.
Fixtures take place on Wednesdays and Sundays between 1pm - 7pm.
