If you don’t fancy the commitment of joining a team, then come along to Active Campus Football where you can turn up and play for fun.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced player or have never played before, Active Campus is for everyone and all abilities. Our friendly student activators will be on hand to welcome you and guide you through the session.
Compete
If you fancy playing the sport you love in a social but competitive environment then the Campus Leagues are for you!
Compete against other teams from Manchester Met and University of Manchester in our weekly football campus league fixtures at the Armitage Centre on a Thursday.

Represent
Manchester Met Women’s Football club consists of two teams competing in the BUCS league. They hold trials at the start of the year to determine which team you can compete on.
BUCS level
- Women’s 1st – Northern 3A
- Women’s 2nd – Northern 4A
As one of ten FA Women’s High Performance Centres, we assist in providing an educational and community-based setting to recruit, develop and deploy coaches, who will lead and inspire player development specifically in the women’s and girls’ game.
Establishing a connection with the England talent pathway and FA WSL clubs, the centres provide talented players with an environment to facilitate both their academic and football ambitions, providing a variety of services such as, coaching, sports science and sports medicine and scholarship opportunities.
